Hospital Services, Inc. (HSI) has served the healthcare industry exclusively since 1963. Initially created as a service to the members of the North Dakota Hospital Association, H.S.I. now provides collections for all types of healthcare providers, including clinics, dentists, chiropractors and optometrists.
Our Approach
Our debt collection services are 100 percent healthcare-focused and experienced. Working as an extension of your revenue cycle, systems, and policies, we provide patients with self-service and assisted services to facilitate account resolution, create payment plans and empower an optimum patient financial experience.
Our first objective is to work with the patient in obtaining payment in full. If payment in full is not feasible, we work with the patient to establish and adhere to a reasonable payment schedule that results in timely repayment of the debt. We base the schedule on the patients’ earnings and obligations, as well as the size of the debt. If the patient is unwilling to commit to payments that we believe he or she is capable of, legal action will be considered.
